I am a Bay Area Native from Richmond CA. My passion is working with Millennial women of color supporting each individual with developing a self-care plan and implementing strategies and techniques to improve their mental/emotional wellbeing.
My Style - Client-centered, non-judgmental, direct, relational, and holistic. My therapeutic approaches include strength-based interventions, Mindfulness/Somatic Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), movement and nutrition.
My Background – I'm experienced in working with the child welfare system, psychiatric facilities, school based, and the juvenile justice system. I graduated with a Master’s in Social Work Degree with a focus on Community Mental Health in 2010. I obtained my License in Social Work with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in 2014. I have practiced as therapist for approx 12 years, and most of my experience is working with people of color living with depression, chronic stress, anxiety and generational trauma.
Fun Facts About Me: I love the outdoors and I often find myself on a hike or at a beach for self-care. I enjoy spending time with the people I love, traveling, and trying new things. I am a spiritual person and it's a strong part of my self-care and wellness routine.
